Blade of this knife is forged of old Czechoslovak steel very similar to AISI A2. It was hand polished and etched. Than it shows fine wootz-like pattern. The handle was carved out of maple wood. Fittings are of bronze.
The sheath is made of cow semi-rawhide with wooden inserts in the blade part.

goldfield

I forged this blade of W2 tool steel. It´s differentially hardened, hand polished and etched. The handle is carved of Australian Goldfield burl wood that gave me my friend Wouters Georges. The guard and bottom button are made of bronze. The cow hide sheath is inserted by wood in the blade part.
